Connecting to Oracle through SSRS

Hi,

I have created a bunch of reports in MS Visual Studio and they run fine when I connect through VS. However when I deploy them (along with the same datasource) to my local Sql Server Reporting Server instances and try and run them I get the following error:
* An error has occurred during report processing.
Cannot create a connection to data source 'Checkpoint'.
ORA-12154: TNS:could not resolve the connect identifier specified

I can connect to the Oracle server through Squirrel SQL client also, so I think it is something to do with SSRS. Any help appreciated.

Thanks

Barry

Is your report server Oracle client setup with the same TNS alias you used to develop the reports?

Can you connect via sqlplus from the reporting server to Oracle?
