Oracle Auditing, DB_EXTENDED

I am trying to enhance our database auditing and am contemplating setting AUDIT_TRAIL=DB_EXTENDED. I have done this on a low volume test database with no issues. However, a search of MetaLink has found a number of issues have been identified. A lot of the them seem to be related to CLOB columns.

My question to this group is, has anyone used this setting in their shop and, if so, have you had any problems with it.

Any insight you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I also have it set only in low volume development/QA systems, for at least past year no problems...
