Can anyone suggest me on this! :) shyam i think you should have already up running different groups and levels of roles and logins for various activities ,requiring db access. if not this would be the very first level i think. then , i am really not sure how good is it go for a encrpytion of data ? and whether sybase 12.0 supports db encryption yet ? this woud be a overhead on the performance side , so you need to look up for the ups and downs for this activity . the admin guide from sybase doc's , it a good one to start off with. kiran |
