We are running a Paradox database for a software package called Visiplan.
The database is getting corrupted quite frequently and therefore needs to be rebuilt.
After chatting with Visiplan support they said the reasons this may be occurring is because there is alot of network traffic/collisions and this is causing files to be locked which in turn corrupts the database.
I was wondering how should I set up performance monitor on the NT 4.0 Server to determine if the network is the issue?
There are about 6 users accessing this database but alot more people are accessing this server as it is the file server.

I had a similar problem, and it turned out to be the network settings. If you can, run NUPDATE and choose 8.) OTHER for the network type. If it's set to something else, it can sometimes cause problems like you describe.

Where can I get Nupdate?

Nupdate.exe should be in the Paradox folder. It gets installed when you install Pdox. Run it from the command prompt.
