I am curious to what kind of people visit this forum.
Maybe it's nice to tell something about yourself ..
Let me start.
I am Ruud, born 26-05-1973.
I live in Roosendaal, the Netherlands.
I work as an Oracle DBA for CMG, I am working at Shell Gabon now.
(Gabon is a country in Africa).
I have been Oracle DBA since summer 1998.
My interests are: internet, playing snooker, listening to and collecting music, and of course Oracle.

have been learning/using Oracle for a while; but rarely use it except on specific projects. Usual jobs/tasks are more java/ vb stuff.

Work: Web developer/server admin/dba in the oil industry.
Worked with: asp vbscript/perlscript, php, java (servlets mainly), apache, iis, SQL server, mysql, postgresql.
Interested in: pool, music (anything apart from classical), films, books (anything & everything), my Saxo VTR  , and trying as many of the worlds lagers as possible!!

I'm also (a) Matt, from Columbus, OH USA.
I work as a CTO/Sybase DBA/PHP Programmer/Sysadmin (etc. -- all in one! ) for FanHome. I work as a PHP/Oracle dev for Miami University
Been a PHP programmer since 1997/8?, been working with databases in some form since 1995? but specifically for FanHome since 2000.

Work unfortunately.... converted a few stand alone applications to be online applications and I've got to demo them to the techie people of an oil company over there.
We have a few workers over there and they love the place so I'm hoping I enjoy it
