I'm new on this forum and also new withjBASE.I tried to put this thread in comp...pick... but it said i have to post 3 local mesages... so excuse me if this isn't the right place for my question.
First i want to know your opinion about jBASE.(good things and bad things)
I installed jBASE ( the free download version) and i hve a few problems.
I know C but i can't get around jBASE.
I was used with BORLANDC editor +compiler .I treied with jed and then with BASIC and jCompileFile but i got stuck .
PLease give me a very simple example ( one line)of a jbc program (editing saving the file compiling and runing the program) .
I have read the manual(not all of it) but i still can't run a simple program.

Thank you.

Hi Jimmyy
sorry about this, but I too cannot post to the PICK group as I need
3 postings locally, so I hope you do not take offence.

I am used to Infoflo/Unidata on AIX, but have a copy of JBase for Linux
that I have not tried yet.
Have you come to terms with it ?
