New to Informix [Archive]

Hi all,
I'm new to informix, I seted up INFORMIX-Oline Dynamic Server version 7.23 on NT.
I started it manuelly, and when I try to connect to the server I receve this error:
[Informix][SQLinformix]SQL Error(-908): Attempt to connect to the databse server(servername) Fallaid...::mad:

the you have anny idea about my problem???

you can use command "finderr <error_num> " to ask hint from informix dbserver

You need to use the setnet utility. I have included a couple of articles for reference:

This error also occurs if you have multiple registry entries.
