Team Database, the International Association Of Database Professionals, is now accepting Charter Members.

We're creating several programs, including a vendor-neutral certification program that will complement the vendor-based DBA certifications and create a full-career path for database professionals, from apprentice-level to Certified Database Expert (DBX). Our first exam is live, and we have a free full-length practice exam you can download in addition to a comprehensive study guide at www.TeamDatabase.com.

We're also launching a large advertising campaign that will feature members of Team Database in a variety of technology magazines, including Oracle and SQL Server magazines. If you think it'd be fun to have your picture and a few words about you in one of your favorite magazines, join the Team and put yourself in the pool of ad candiates.

Hi,

I have a question. Since we can earn Bachelor or Master degrees in CS, major - database development or get certified by Oracle or Microsoft, what is the point in "vendor-neutral certification"?

Sincerely, Igor
