| We currently have OpenIngres 1.2 running on a Solaris 2.5.1 box. We need to upgrade that Solaris server as it will no longer be supported by Sun soon. We would like to upgrade it to a newer version of the Solaris Operating system. I have heard that OpenIngres 1.2 will not run on newer version of Solaris. Is there a newer version of OpenIngres that would not be too much trouble to migrate over to, that would run on a newer version of Solaris? If not, any alternative DBMS software that anyone could recommend that could be easy to migrate to? Thanks in advance. |
