View Full Version : goto=newpost fails!
| When I get an e-mail notification that someone has responded to a subscribed thread this is the URL it shows me:
http://dbforums.com/showthread.php?threadid=39262&goto=newpost
However when I click on it a blank page is returned, not the new post. |
Thanks.. I'll get on it... Or I could just wait till Monday when vB 2.0 final is released :D

| That's cool. Just alerting you to the problem (didn't think it was an issue on RC3 but I guess it was) in case it was a non RC3 bug (say a template issue or a setting in the CP or something).
Thanks for the site to discuss all our RDBMS issues! You should advertise to get a lot of people here -- most forums touch on DB issues but since it's mostly MySQL you have to deal with people who have NO clue what good DB desgin is and if you want to get into some more subtle things (say EXISTS vs. IN, or maybe cursor performance on Solaris vs. NT) of the RDBMS you can't.
I like the newsgroup interaction as well -- would you be able to add different servers? forums.sybase.com are the newsgroups I visit most often (followed by comp.databases.sybase and comp.databases.oracle) but they're not listed.
Thanks again!! |
Oops, apparently I wasn't logged in??
i agree. this place could rock :)
im also getting the newpost issue, i just get a white screen up...
advertise fastforward, get this place goin!!
I put this URL in my signature on the forums I visit most (vBulletin.com, SitePointForums.com) and I might start refering people over here!

I can add forums.sybase.com, I'll do it tonight. As for the other two... they are here already http://dbforums.com/f56/s and http://dbforums.com/f49/s
