Portal pasting problem [Archive]

When initiating a script from a portal to paste into another file (and into the portal on the same layout) it only allows the records to be pasted in sequence. How do I fix this? Thanks.

If it's row sequence that bugs you these script step will help you:

Go to Portal Row[] with a bunch of options

Also you can use functions:

Status(CurrentPortalRow) is obvious but you can use others namely to Count(Portalrelationship) how many records you have in the Portal (relation).

If It's record sequence within the portal use Set field[].

Actually Set Field[] Script Step is faster and safer and more Powerfull than the Paste Script Step - I've read somewhere that the Paste Step is only there for backward compatiblity.
