Enterprise Replication and different time zone

Hi

Why ER (Enterprise Replication)require that all servers time should be synchronized?

If time is not synchronized then what are the impact?

If servers reside on different time zone then ER is not applicable?

Because every ER-transaction has a timestamp.
In that case you can apply time-based conflict resolution.
