Question Odbc

Hello!
I'm novice... Please help me :-)

The problem is: I've been installed the ODBC driver in a Window$ 2000 Server, and I'm trying to connect on a Linux Server, is the IDS 2000 the informix version on Server.
I've made an ODBC connection to he DB Server.
I've typed correctly the Server Name, Host Name, The Service, Protocol (onsoctcp), User ID and Passworrd.
But... when I click on the dropdown combo to choose the database... An ugly and horrorous message appears: "Unspecified Error -11413."... The finderr command reports that the error is because the server is down... But the server is up!

Please help me!!! Or I will get unemployed...

Error -11413 : Failed to connect to the server. The database server might be down. If so, restart it.
Hope it helps!
