Question Informix granular table restore

Hey all, is there a way to restore a single table from an ontape backup instead of doing a blob restore of the entire save? If not with ontape, is there another way to save that allows this sort of granular restore?
-thanks

If your table is the only table in a dbspace you can do a dbspace restore.

Hi
As far as my limited understanding and experience gets, the dbspace restore is good only to divide the restore to blocks. The server might not be consistent if you restore only part of the dbspaces.
I've tried to restore all but one dbspace, but then I couldn't use that name again in the system. (Could not delete that dbspace from the sysmaster, could not add new one with the name).
