Migration from 7.3 to 9.3

We are migrating Informix 7.3 to Informix 9.3 that too from NCR MP-RAS to Sun Solaris 5.8.

What are the factors to be considered for the migration?

Any views will be appreciated.

I assume you will use dbexport/dbimport to do the migration?
It will be time-consuming.... depending on the size of the database of course.
Sol8 is defenetly a good decision!
