Question oracle server/datebase design

hi
happy new year.
i am a new member in this forum.

as when using oracle 9i, how do we use the enterprise manager for it and how do we do the space allocation for the server so that more than one database can run on one server.
can you people kindly guide me for the best architecture to fulfil the requirment above.

I have one more question, how do we change the assigned temp table space allocation value using SQL command( as we are not using enterprise manager).

Actually i am a new DBA and has recently shifted from 8i to 9i...so not very sure about the differences.

looking forward for help for u enlighted people.
thanks
bye
Astha Raj
