ok, i hope this is a good question.
i want to setup a sql server (ms sql server) and have filemaker pro 5.5 as my user interface for the server, can it be done and how?????

can i use mysql instead of ms sql server???

You can use odbc to import data and create your interface. FMP 5.5 and 6 got some sql function that enable programmer to insert, update data ...

Be carefull if your are on Mac/Mac Osx you need to have an odbc driver for the sql server.

If you use MySql instead remenber that for the moment there are no odbc driver on mac
