statistics time in Sybase

Hi!
Can anyone please help me to get the vaules of 'statistics time on' utility.i want to measure the performance of my any normal query to Sybase database.I want to measure the SQL Execution time..Theres one set statistics time on utility..and it gives me the required parameters also...but i want to capture those parameters and send it back to my program.So please help me ow to get those parameters.

Hi,

If you just want time then you can do something like this


select @starttime = getdate()

your_query /*select, update, insert*/

select @endtime = getdate()

select @runtime = datediff(ms,@starttime,@endtime)
this will give you diffrence in milliseconds
