Calculating time differences in informix

Hi, I'm new to all this, so bare with me. I have a problem with unix time and "people" time. What I would need to do, is calculate time diffirence between 2 timestamps, so I have starttime and endtime in unixtime, and I need the result to be people time. You guys have any suggestions how to do this ?
Thanks in advance,
Keimo

You might try this:

select extend(dbinfo("utc_to_datetime", <diff_seconds>), hour to second)
from systables where 1=1
