IConnect Crashing the server

We are now having problems running IConnect against the server.
The OS is Redhat 8
Informix 9.30.UC3 J/Foundation and associated IConnect tools
Windows 2000 client

We appear to be able to set up the environmenbt ok with Setnet32, but we get the following system crash when trying the connection with DBPing.

We have also tried setting up and ODBC connection using the drivers provided with the server, but also get the same problem.
Any ideas gratefully received!
