Oracle Version on Unix

Hai all

Is there any command or any way i can see the version of Oracle on Sun Solaris OS.

In windows we can check the registry values.Is there something similar in Solaris.

call sqlplus or svrmgrl and connect ... then the product is showing it's version and the server version against which it is running
