| Hyperion Reporting Specialist. Estimated 6 to 12 months. Strong possibility for long-term employment Pittsburgh Pa 70-95K + with benefits (based on experience) One of A.C.Coy Company strategic partners located in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area has a need for a Hyperion Reporting Specialist. Estimated 6 to 12 months. Strong possibility for long-term employment Client has selected Hyperion applications for Reporting, Analysis, Planning and Forecasting. The project team is heavily involved in the defining and development of reports and related processes and procedures. Experienced resources are needed to assist with these tasks related to reporting within the Hyperion environment. Objectives/Accountabilities Functional team member is responsible for the design, build and test of reports for use with the Hyperion application environment. Must have expert skills relating to the Hyperion Essbase Excel add-in feature. Must be knowledgeable and have experience with designing, building, configuring, optimizing and storing reports using the following Hyperion tools: Hyperion Analyzer, Hyperion Reports, and Essbase Excel add-in. Sample report management responsibilities include: · Identify required data elements that are needed for reporting and analysis. · Create mock-ups of reports and obtain end-user approval. · Ability to differentiate when to use which reporting tool for end-user analysis. · Ability to reasonably answer “can you do this” type of reporting questions from users · Creating custom calculations in reports · Responsible for creating reconciliation reports between various systems. (Hyperion Planning applications, Hyperion Financial Management, Native Essbase applications, ect_ Knowledge of advanced Hyperion Analyzer reporting techniques is a plus. (e.g. customized stop-lighting and graphical analysis reports) Experience with reporting from relational databases is also a plus. Business Knowledge: · Very strong accounting and financial experience with background in information technology · Ability to perform top down and bottom up planning Must have a proven track record of working well with business process owners, internal and location IT, and functional contacts to support applications. Technical Knowledge: · Hyperion Essbase · Hyperion Essbase Spreadsheet Add-in · Hyperion Reports/Analyzer · Hyperion Business Rules Education: Bachelor degree in finance or IT or equivalent.
