| Oracle iProcurement Consultant Pittsburgh Pa/ 6 month + contract rate/salary is based on experience Job Responsibilities: This contract position is an outstanding opportunity to be an active part of cutting edge procurement and supplier enablement initiatives at a Fortune 100 company. The primary role is to support the clients key initiatives in the area of supplier management and support of Oracle iTools. This role requires proven troubleshooting and customer service skills, demonstrated high performance orientation, detail orientation, excellent written, listening, and verbal communication skills, and cross-functional collaboration/teamwork skills. Specific focus areas and requirements include: Focus AreaFunctional Requirements Oracle iTools support Provide customer support on troubleshooting/resolving iTools user tickets. Coordinate processing of iSupplier requests from locations. Coordinate and perform testing for upgrades/enhancements. Supplier Management Liaison withthird-party supplier management firm on various supplier/catalog related issues. Coordinate development of punchout sites with new/existing suppliers. Other Responsibilities: § Perform project management over numerous support-oriented tasks § Collaborate closely with the deployment teams and assimilate their iTools IT requirements into the overall activities of the team.. § Facilitate the solving of technically oriented problems and issues. § Frequent hands-on use of Oracle tools and applications § Assist with training initiatives and provide technical advice and counsel to location personnel Expertise Knowledge/Skills Required: § Prior experience with one or more of Oracle`s eProcurement applications such as: iProcurement, iSupplier, Catalog Management, or Pcard § Oracle expertise most desirable, however, experience with other eProcurement solutions such as: Ariba or CommerceOne, a plus § Proven track record of providing excellent tech support and customer service § Database management (intermediate level or better) § Proven project management skills § Outstanding attention to detail and ability to multi-task § Communication, collaboration, initiative, problem solving Other Requirements: § Ability to travel to customer location (20% travel) § Local candidates preferred (no relocation available) Educational Requirements: § BS degree or equivalent experience required § MBA (tech focus) or MS degree in IT/Computer Science a definite plus Gary V.
