DB states

What are db states?
what are they set for? is it something like dedicated server?
what does it mean when a database is in 'full' state?
please advise.

Hi,
It is a DB satest i.e. Started or Shutdown etc. and the state can be checked with utility dbtool. U may hv to see the exact options for dbtool command. In fact, i hv not used it, just read it in some magazine....
