View Full Version : pervasive w3monv75 user names garbled

I have one user that is showing up in w3monv with 2 different user ids I get her name which is fine.. but I also get )(*&#)(*&@ which seems to cause problems... If there are several user names as )&)&)&*(#$ then the pervasive db goes slow or prints won't work or other issues... what would cause this bad id?

What version of Pervasive are you using? I think this was a known issue with Pervasive.SQL 7.0 and may have been corrected in SP6. If not, I know that Pervasive.SQL 2000 did address this problem

Are you using SP4 or SP3? What's the exact version of the Monitor (W3MONV75.EXE)?

7.90 build 230 on the w3monv75
sp3 or 4? on what...

Sorry about that. SP3 or SP4 of Pervasive 2000i. The build number you've got shows SP3. SP4 has been out for a while now, It might be something to try.

the pervasive engine comes with my accounting package... I best leave it alone. however in the add remove it shows 2000 sp4? this machine build 251.003
I'll have to check the offending machines
