One of the interns sent me a spreadsheet a couple weeks back with the word "DRAFT" in big letters diagonally across the page. How the hell did she do that? :-)

It's hard to tell for sure without seeing the sheet. However, this can be done several ways, producting several results.
1. Wordart: Stays in forground
2. Formating the background (Format>sheet>background) then inserting an image with the word 'Draft'
