the pull down menu should contain the data i want.

Aloha...

Perhaps you are talking about using data validation using a list.

Look in Excel Help under Data Validation. It's pretty easy to do.

Hello, in order to create a pull down in Excel:

Select cell(s) to contain Pull down
Click Data Menu
Select Validation...
From the Allow: pulldown, select List
In the Source Box indicate the data you want
Click OK
