Create graphic out of html

I have the problem that I need to create a graphic out of html (needed for archiving purposes). Messed around a bit with paint(), but it creates a graphic only out of the visible part in the JEditorPane and had some issues with threading (if paint() was called too early only parts of the output were drawn).
On the long term it should be a solution for a headless system too... ;-)

Any ideas, links, suggestion?

Help is very much appreciated.
