searching in DBF MEMO field for text

hallo,
i try to search for text (fulltext search) in DBF memo field. I am using BDE and its LIKE keyword, but no success. I have also tried to use filter property of TQuery component, but it doesnt work with MEMO field...

is there any way how to search in MEMO field using SQL?

so finally I realized LIKE keyword works fine
