Problem committing from delphi's dbExpress to mysql 4.

Hi.
We run mysql on windows and a delphi-intraweb-server on
the same machine connecting locally to mysql with username and password.

When "applying updates" many times in a short time the server crashes. Sometimes we can see it asking for the password. Sometimes we dont see anything, only that half of the updates have not been performed.

Is this a known bug for dbExpress?

Will adding more sessions in my.cnf help, and if so, what will happen when many users log in at the same time?

Is SciBit's MySQL Components a better component to use?

I well be *very* happy for any help or suggestion on this problem. /maria

I don't understand. Do you mean to say that controlling
the threads correctly would make a difference?
