how to freeze scrolling through the text?
How do I set the header and footer to be frozen as the person is scrolling through the text on the page?

sounds like you either want to use frames (not that way I'd go) or put the text into a textarea with special style formatting and javascript so it can't be edited and looks the way you want it to...
