combination text box & list box
does anyone know how to implement this? i want to allow the user to choose from a drop-down list but type in their own entry if it's not in the list

the easiest is to have a drop down and have a "not in list" button so that they can add something to the list or something similar. You can't get a standard html select box to behave in this way.
