excel line width

I am drawing excel line graphs and I want to increase the line widt so I write this line:
-----
crt.Chart.SeriesCollection(1).Pen.Width = 50
-----
but I get this error
----
Object doesn't support this property or method: 'Pen'
----

Does anybody what the problem is?
