Hi everyone,

I have developed a simple component using Visual Basic 6. Then I registered the dll file in the IIS Server which is running on Windows NT platform. When i try to execute an Asp file which is using this component from the client i am getting the following error:


Server object error 'ASP 0177 : 800401f3'

Server.CreateObject Failed

/ivmsc26/pal.asp, line 17 (this is the filename with path)

Invalid class string

Will you please help me? Your help is greatly appreciated.

Well seeing the message is one thing but seeing the code is another
