ADO and ADO.Net

I read the website: http://www.w3schools.com/default.asp
there is "learn ADO". I don't know whether there is different between ADO and ADO.net. I want to know whether the "learn ADO" actually is "learn ADO.Net.". Anybody knew this? Can you recomand me a website to learn the ADO.NET. Thanks for your help.
