Hi, I was just thinking...are there any components where I can make maps online? I know one with the name AspMap. Are there any free ones, or how to go about learning to do one?

We used to use a system called WebMap that linked into our GIS System in the City Council where I worked. Basically you need a vector image generator(?) of some to create the map image based on db information regarding the street layouts. I don't imagine it would be too difficult, but getting the information to actually generate the maps would be an issue.
