[MERANT][ODBC Sybase driver][Sybase]ASA Error -75
Hi,
I am trying to connect to Sybase using Merant 3.60 32-BIT Sybase driver,
in ASP code,
i am getting following error.
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80004005'
[MERANT][ODBC Sybase driver][Sybase]ASA Error -75: Request to start/stop database denied.

where is the problem!!! ?
Can i use this driver with Sybase , i got same error when i created DSN in ODBC.

Sound to me like it is a permissioning problem. If you read the error messge it looks like you are getting to the database and requesting to start a service which you don't have permissions to do.
