document downloads not working on Mac

I have a section where PDF documents can be downloaded. It works fine except on Internet Explorer for Mac. In this case, it downloads the actual ASP page (it downloads an ASP file instead of a PDF).
I have no idea how to fix this. Any input would so incredibly appreciated!!
