How to get images on a remote FTP server and save them on my server, ASP if possible

Hello,
I need to get images on a remote FTP server in an automated way and save them in a folder on my own server. I can do this file by file or using a list of files, which ever makes more sens.
I am not sure where to start as this is something I have never done. After much research on the net I have found info on server.xmlhttp and I think this could be the way to go for me.
Any though on this?
