page counter component - IP specific?

hello all.

i need to find out the number of hits my website gets. no problem...i'm using the Page Counter Component that comes natively with ASP. only how can i make sure that it doesn't increment whenever i access the site from my own computer (IP address)?

Which version of asp are you using ?
