Hello,

I am trying to connect to a progress database through asp.

I have tried and tested my system dsn with Winsql and that works fine.

However when I connect to it through asp page i get this error:

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers (0x80004005)
Specified driver could not be loaded due to system error 126 (Merant 3.60 32-bit Progress SQL92 V9.1c)

Has anybody encountered this before.

This is usually a pathing or dll problem. Have you tried connecting to it through visual basic (or some other programming platform) ? Is the database on the same machine as your iis ?

Searching the Progress KBase for "Merant asp odbc"
