Open\Save dialog box before download file.

Hello All,

I have one link on web page which is pointing to csv file on web server, when this link is clicked then it should ask me for Open \ Save (Dialogue box) and then take the action. But I am not geting this dialogue box even when I have appropriate MIME settings too. I have win2k and IE6 browser on my machine. Is this problem having anything related ti this?
Please guide me in this.

Regards,
Mahesh

Browser open the file directly with out asking me for saving or Opening the file in browser. Instead what I want is it should ask me to save on HDD or open the same in broser.

Thanks,
Mahesh

It means you still have a CSV association somewhere on your computer.

You'll need to either remove this association, or try and 'stream' the file to the user (I think)..

Cheers,
Andrew

I don't want to remove association since this is on client side machine to which I don't have any access. How to stream the file?

Thanks,
Mahesh
