Retrive Form name from submite page

I want to retrive the form name
from eg. <form name="Form1"


so...in the next page I want to get

"FORM1"........

how is this done?

I'm not sure that you can. There would be work arounds though. What exactly are you trying to do?

was just wondering.......there was a purpose to it during my posting..but I did a workaround.....faking it by putting the form name value as a input hidden...

But then, I was just wondering...

Yeah, that would have been what I suggested,... try loping through the request object and see what is returned... I don't think any of the form information is,... just the value inside the form.
