I have taken over a project where someone was updating an Access database using the ado .update method.

I have changed the database from access to SQL all seems to be fine until a record is updated and multiple records are being update.

I'm really just wondering is there is anything obvious that anyone has come across as to why this may be happening.

Try opening the recordset with: adOpenKeyset, adLockOptimistic
