Win XP Service pack 1

Help me... i cannot install window xp service pack 1. It say invalid product key. I get my win xp professional cd from my friend. Mine use to be Window xp home edition but I had to change due to school work which require me to change to to Xp professional. What should I do?? Someone please help...

Service pack 1

Could you go straight to Service Pack 2 - Microsoft seems eager for everyone to have it. Presumably it will cover SP1?
