What would you do?
|
|
If you could have anything modified or upgraded (as far as software) on any of your digital devices (Cell phone, Mp3 Player, digital camera, PDA, GPS system, Etc...) to make the more or better functional, what would you do?
There are a lot of things that I would get upgraded... For example I would have someone develop me a product to be able to change the channels on my TV from my cell phone. Also, I would maybe ask for a product to be developed to enable me to call a number on my cell phone and have the latest bus-schedule for the city I am in download to my phone. Then I could find out at anytime in the day what bus to take from where I am at.
Anyway... what would you do? I am sure there are some very innovative ideas out there.

Depending on your cell phone, you you may already be able to control the TV. Palm based phones have been able to do this for years using Novi-Remote.
I'm not comfortable with the idea of mental commands for my computer. I hate to think of what might happen if mine figured out how to implement some of the ideas I've had!

It would be inconvenient if my browser was constantly searching for porn while I am at work.

Yeah - I find it is quite distracting but I consider it the price I have to pay.

Considering some of the mental commands I give people around here, my computer could go belly up trying to do things that are not only physically, but anatomically impossible for it to do.

He is very subtle in that case - I have no idea what his site is or does.

I need the whole mental command thing to work for people at work but I only need one command.

He has two posts on our forum. The other one plugs his site. If you google his login, you will get a ton of hits from him posting the same thing on just about any forum you can think of.

tee hee!! like i have enough cash lying around to afford a portable MRI machine
and that last sentence "From there, we assume, it's only a matter of time before the bots learn to reverse the process, initiating a mind control link over their would-be masters" makes me realize that there's no way i would wear the stupid MRI in the first place
nice find, though

Lederhosen are OK, but the helmet is simply not stylish enough for you, eh?
