anybody on facebook?

i'm having a fabulous time in facebook

i must say, the drag&drop feature on your profile page is excellent, and the ease of uploading, tagging, and re-organizing photos is brilliant

if you're on there, let's be friends

Twice.

Rudy - are you shamelessly trying to gather chums from strangers by putting this in Chat?

Good going

Logged on twice by me, once by the maker
1st logon was to unsubscribe from all e-mail alerts and to change the password so that the creator couldn't put them back on (or w/e).

2nd time was to accept a relationship request from my SO and post a little something about getting engaged.

People soom to get really peed off at me when I haven't accepted them as friends

For someone who wants to get beyond being known as the man that wears leather German pants you sure do post a lot of pictures of yourself wearing them

It is a little less baffling now. I quite like adding little applications - premiership predictor is my latest. It is a little tricky when you are trying to find a friend called something like "John Smith" though.

My daughter just told me last week that you can't sign up on facebook unless you have a university/school email address! Her and her friend swore that was true. I had my doubts about it, I think she was just trying to prevent me from creating an account, and to try to ease her mother's mind about predatory perverts.

Regardless, I have not tried to set up an account there, nor on that other one that swept the globe previously.

I suppose I should give it a go.

facebook started out as an app for harvard students only

then it broadened out to all colleges, then all schools

it is now open to the world

my whole family is on there -- siblings and cousins and inlaws and nieces and nephews and even my mom (who's 83)

for sharing news and stories and especially pictures with family, this is a killer app
