Somehow I wasn't surprised by anyone's view about this heavy subject (religion) with one exception: Pat. When I finally thought I figured him out he throws a curved wicked ball My personal view is close to Rudy's. I think I am agnostic (accurate definition is always tricky) but I come from a religious family which make our thanksgiving's dinner very interesting.

Since time began we have needed belief systems to reassure us that the sun will come up the next morning. In the early days we had magic to explain the world to us, then came the early pagan religions, then more modern religions and now we have science. The strange thing was that intelligent people would always believe in the current system and regard any previous system as ludicrous. It just makes me wonder what might come next!

Some interesting books on this subject are Religion and the decline of magic and The meme machine

Sorry if I gave any such impression. The thought that believing in both God and science were somehow incompatible or mutually exclusive hadn't even occured to me.

I was doing something else (I assume it was this weekend right?) but it would never have occurred to me to watch it. Was it good? Did they make many yards and steal lots of interceptions?

yep. me 2.

that's the last birthday I can say I truly celebrated. 21 is nothing. 30 is a metaphysical crisis.

I finally slept last night after running around for a few days straight. still exhausted.`i am not going to ever going to be a proper adult.

Yeah - it's pretty bad for you - 21 marks nothing anymore. At least when I turned 21 it meant I could legally have gay sex. It wasn't that I was likely to but I now had the right, damn it!!!1!
