I know where you are coming from Sean. At my last review they really stretched my targets - looking to attain mediocrity by Q4 2010. Pfffff - what's the point of setting goals that are impossible!!!!!

What a shame you don't score full points for declaring it two days late

u so funny. but seriously this is the kind of crap that I stay away from government work to avoid.
so what's on the weekend agenda?
I am happy to report that I am already couch side and will not be back in the orifice until after the election. There is a party tomorrow I might skip to work on some personal stuff, but I should go flirt with everyones girlfriends. Dinner with the folks on Sunday. I am on the fence about The Who on Monday. They really lost something when John died. i have seen them before and after. Bad Brains in DC on election day.

I am phonebanking for Obama tomorrow for as many hours as I can stand, and then it's open. I ended up not having to work as I suspected I would, so that's a pleasent surprise.
Sunday is my brothers birthday, so we are doing something then as well. I'm baking a few things for his birthday, he'd rather have treats than gifts. It's a good thing, since I love to cook.
Other than the post-Halloween cleanup, it's going to be a quiet one.

David Tenant is leaving Doctor Who. Stupid career move. He is way better than the last guy they had as the Doctor.

I've got to deliver some bad news tonight (not spilling any beans until the deed is complete), followed by packing a bag and dropping it off with my Rents and going out in the surrounding area there for a few drinks with an old friend.
Going to one of my favourite pubs - all imported lagers, and loads of local brewery stuff. Poots and Healdem would be proud!
Saturday AM is training (preferably without as bad a hangover as last week), then home for a shower and change before heading in to town for some shopping (and possibly the phone upgrade).
PM - hopefully see The Cakebaker.
I want to go home.

I was just looking at that a few minutes ago...Hmmm...depending on how you like it I might actually have to add it to my queue also.
I am at work today in my big black afro wig and shiney, big-collar shirt. First time in about 2 decades I have not worn either boots, tennis shoes or nothing on my feet. An Iranian we have working here says "who are you supposed to be?" like I do not stand for an entire class of cool folks in the '70s. Sad. Supposedly he was here in the states then, but I sincerely doubt it now.
Tonight I will be drinking copious amounts of beer and handing candy out to the kids, and hitting on thier mothers. Tomorrow night there is a wild South American Halloween party, at which I plan to drink copious amounts of beer. The Bolivian has a matching disco mini that I am trying to convince her needs no underthings.
Tomorrow morning/afternoon I am drinking copious amounts of beer and cleaning/organizing the last remaining bastion of confusion from our move to the new house, The Garage. Probably will continue that on Sunday, while drinking copious amounts of beer.
Gotta get in shape for Las Vegas next weekend, where I am likely to consume copious amounts of beer.
