Ahem, Brett may be many things by a Native English speaker? from New Jersey?

Or is he now claiming to hail from St Helier or its environs?

Football?!?!?!? WTF? I am bummed. I was moving on Sunday instead of having my ass planted on the sofa and watching football on my (relatively) new DPL TV! That is just WRONG. I have been OH SO looking forward to football season on a big-screen. Bull Riding already looks fantastic on it, can't wait for football on it.

Speaking of moving, interestingly enough, the first pass through the new pad indicates to me that I "get" to decorate pretty much only the "office" room and the garage. We'll be talking over it soon, I know...I worked hard to build a nice little western-style, cozy place...the new place seems conspicuously void of this western flair.

I so love having a house with off-street parking. Went to various stores over the weekend. It's ever so cool to not have to walk half a block to get stuff from the truck to the house. The new place has a garage AND a carport...so today I got to walk out of the house, take about 10 steps, and get into a cool truck that was parked under the carport.

[note to self]Work on convincing The Bolivian that she wants to celebrate having a driveway by washing my truck next weekend in a bikini[/note to self]

It is so cool to have a driveway. *happy sigh*

I also am jazzed about the garage. Room for my '67 Cougar, shelving (I need to build) and workbench (I need to build), and tool cabinet/tools.

On my way into work today I splurged and bought myself a new Compound Miter Saw, now that I have room to store it.

We now have a house with 4 people and 4 cats in it.

Send pictures! I'd love to see your truck clean, wet, and freshly hosed off! Of course, then you'd have to dry it down carefully to keep water spots from forming.

*L* Yeah, I can do that. I have a special mental-movie that I play every time I think of a woman washing a car. It's very similar to that one that the Hilton girl did for Carls Jr., in fact. But with a better-looking chick.

aww shucks...I bet you say that to everyone *blush*

I wish I was that flexible. I guess you keep in good form as you age I guess I should get back to the gym with a goal like that in mind.

I am ready to go home and sleep! I got about a total of 12 hours sleep in the past 4 days (moving). Overall it went smoothly though..we decided to appease the Moving Gods early on, and to do so allowed one of The Bolivian's 7' laminated pressboard shelf/cupboard units to slide off the back of my truck as I pulled away from a stop sign and destroy itself spectacularly against the pavement. I still have a couple loads at the old place, then I have an empty apartment until August 31st.
